Entrepreneur Grants signal big opportunity for small business

21 Oct 2017

With matched funding of up to $5000 available to help eligible Queensland small businesses tackle the challenging first few years, the Palaszczuk Government’s Small Business Entrepreneur Grants are ensuring more operators across the Sandgate electorate can survive, grow and employ.

Member for Sandgate, Stirling Hinchliffe, said that Round 2 of the Entrepreneur Grants – part of the government’s $22.7 million Advancing Small Business Queensland Strategy – is now open, and urges emerging local businesses to apply for support.

Applications for Round 2 of the Small Business Entrepreneur Grants close 21 November 2017, 5.00pm.

To be eligible, a business must have a business name registered within the past four years, have fewer than 20 employees, have an EBN and be registered for GST, and be based in Queensland.
