Children under five to receive free flu vaccine

05 Dec 2017

Member for Sandgate, Stirling Hinchliffe, is urging local parents to take advantage of the Palaszczuk Government’s new free flu vaccination program for children aged under five years.

“I would ask every parent who has a child who will be under five to make a note in their calendar to access this free vaccine for their child next year ahead of the 2018 flu season,” Mr Hinchliffe said.

So far this year more than 500 children aged under five admitted to public hospitals have tested positive for influenza.
